“You Won’t Be Alone” is a song from my musical, The Promised Land , which I wrote in 2002 and performed in Boise, Idaho in July of 2003. The play contains the story of Nephi and his family who leave Jerusalem and travel to the The Promised Land, ancient Central America. In the story, Nephi is given the task to build a ship to cross the ocean. This song is sung by Nephi’s wife after he tells her about the ship.

However, as a music teacher, I know how expensive/difficult it can be to obtain music for students to learn. That is one of the reasons I decided to make this music free for students, families, and churches. ~Annette Mackey

Note: The orchestration covers the melody so that the vocal part to be left out if desired.

(Note: This recording is played by synthetic instruments.)

This music may be of interest to members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It may also be of use to orchestra teachers who are searching for free educational materials for their students.
